Bracing for an era of globalization and the “New Southbound Policy” unveiled by the government, Yuan Ze University initiates more bilingual programs in all its colleges in 2017.
The new English programs launched in all colleges at YZU look forward to expanding students’ global perspective while developing international professional networks through lectures given by professionals from specialized industries and opportunities of overseas internship. The project meanwhile expects to help the government cultivate professionals to implement the new southbound policy.

- New definition of a “Bilingual University”/ Interdisciplinary Learning / Multi-Dimension Professional CapabilitiesYZU operates a platform of interdisciplinary learning in order to help students to develop comprehensive capabilities for competing in the job market. The interdisciplinary learning opportunities offered at YZU include courses of Basic Programming Language and English which create a new definition for a “Bilingual University” —students must equip themselves with required capabilities of English and computer programming before graduation.
